Competitor bio:

Bobby is running the World Marathon Challenge in memory of his brother, Anton Rogan White, who passed away in 2004 at the age of 15 due to an undiagnosed heart condition. Since Anton’s passing, Bobby’s family has raised around £75,000 for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity (GCHC), and Bobby hopes to help bring that total to £100,000 through this challenge. Bobby has completed five marathons, beginning with Loch Ness in 2012 and most recently finishing Edinburgh just two days ago—despite currently struggling to walk, let alone run. The World Marathon Challenge will be the most demanding test of his life, physically, mentally, and emotionally, but one he’s fully committed to. Follow his journey on Instagram: @bobbyruns777

World Marathon Challenge®

The World Marathon Challenge® is a logistical and physical challenge to run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days. Competitors must run the standard 42.2 km marathon distance in Antarctica, Africa, Australia, Asia, Europe, South America and North America within 168 hours, or 7 days. The clock starts when the first marathon begins in Antarctica.
